This course is designed for students taking majoring in History and preparing to take Unit Two of CAPE History. Students will study developmental changes in Europe, North and South America and Africa that have occurred over the past few centuries. They will gain an appreciation of the interconnections between various Atlantic communities leading to an understanding of how developments in one part of the Atlantic World occur within the wider framework of regional development.
Intermediate Algebra is a college level course designed to strengthen your algebraic skills in equation solving, factoring, rational expressions, radicals, graphing and other areas. The skills practiced here are the fundamentals for all the other math courses. Specifically, completing this course will give you a foundation for success in College Algebra and the other courses.
This course introduces students to the basic application of classroom management and
organization. Significant attention is placed on preparing students to plan, manage and teach in
multi-grade classrooms. Students will develop skills in the areas of organizing the learner and the
learning environment, student motivation and expectations, lesson planning, timetabling and
scheduling, and preparing appropriate learning resources.
